Finding the right job isn't just about finding a job you can apply for.

It's about finding a job that makes sense for you.

That's why Oblique Movement starts with something much more useful than a keyword search: your experience.

Here's how it works.

1. Send us your resume

Your resume is the starting point.

It tells our AI about your professional experience, skills, responsibilities, industries, and career history.

You also tell us the types of roles you're interested in—or the job titles you're targeting.

You don't need to figure out every possible job title yourself. Your experience gives us additional context about what could be a good fit.

2. We'll look at your resume through an ATS lens

Before you start applying, it's worth making sure your resume is actually positioned to get through the systems many employers use to screen applications.

Our AI evaluates your resume against common Applicant Tracking System (ATS) considerations and identifies opportunities to improve it.

That can include things like:

  • How clearly your experience is described

  • Whether your skills are easy for an ATS to identify

  • How well your resume aligns with the types of roles you're targeting

  • Opportunities to strengthen keywords and terminology

  • Areas where your experience could be presented more effectively

The goal isn't to turn your resume into a collection of buzzwords.

It's to make sure the experience you already have is easier for both technology and people to understand.

3. We look for jobs that actually fit

This is the part that saves you time.

While you're an Oblique Movement subscriber, our AI searches for opportunities and evaluates them against your background and experience.

Instead of simply matching a job title, we're looking at whether the opportunity makes sense based on what you've actually done.

That means a job with a different title can still surface if the responsibilities and requirements line up with your experience.

And a job with the "right" title can be left out if it doesn't actually look like a good fit.

4. Fresh opportunities arrive every day

You don't need to remember to log into five different job boards every morning.

Each day, Oblique Movement sends you a list of jobs that are worth looking at based on your profile and resume.

Fresh opportunities.

Relevant opportunities.

Opportunities you might not have found by searching for one specific job title.

You can then decide which ones are worth pursuing.

Your job search, without all the searching

Oblique Movement isn't trying to replace you in the job search.

It's trying to remove the repetitive parts.

You bring the experience, the goals, and the decisions.

We handle more of the searching and matching.

That's Oblique Movement.
